Set in Washington, DC, “Day 7” opens with CTU dismantled and JACK BAUER (Kiefer Sutherland) on trial. Bauer’s day takes an unexpected turn when former colleague TONY ALMEIDA (Carlos Bernard) returns. Meanwhile, President ALLISON TAYLOR (Cherry Jones) leads the country alongside White House Chief of Staff ETHAN KANIN (Bob Gunton) and First Gentleman HENRY TAYLOR (Colm Feore).

A national security crisis prompts an investigation by a team of FBI agents including Agent JANIS GOLD (Janeane Garofalo), Agent RENEE WALKER (Annie Wersching), Agent LARRY MOSS (Jeffrey Nordling), Agent SEAN HILLINGER (Rhys Coiro) and security specialist MICHAEL LATHAM (John Billingsley). Although CTU is no longer, CHLOE O’BRIAN (Mary Lynn Rajskub) and BILL BUCHANAN (James Morrison) are back for another momentous day of shocking events.

If they stick to a fresh and interesting story, this could be the best season since season 2.
And it seems almost certain that Tony is back which will be cool!

This sounds great. I can't wait til season 7. CTU is no more ? omg what happened ? It would be awsome if Tony is coming back.

CTU no longer exists since it was disbanded by the government. Also, they stated that at the beginning of the season Jack will be appearing before a Senate Committee to answer questions about his actions in the past, some of which they think may have been criminal. Additionally, they confirmed there would be no prequel to bridge the gap between Seasons 6 and 7.

OMG are they showing the preview on fox and I wonder if they will have it on Fox.com
I am counting down the days till season 7.

I've been watching all the seasons every week...I'll be finished with 6 when 7 comes out and I can't wait! It sounds like it is really gonna be another interesting season!!

That was a great preview.....had to watch it atl least 10 times..cant wait till Jan 13th. Kiefer looked...Well how else would Kiefer look other that hot, sexy, yummy.....ok calm down.
